The location was great as it was away from crowded places. The staff was very cute and helpful with our needs. The breakfast was good and the hotel had clean and well-maintained facilities.
Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

Found a hidden gem in the Loire region! Great for groups with ample space to cook and dine, beautiful gardens to relax, and rooms spacious and well-decorated. Hosts were welcoming with helpful local knowledge and introduction to the local cuisine. A good location for exploring the region, with plenty of historical, cultural, garden, and wine and culinary offerings nearby.
The laundry facilities were not as convenient as expected, with long washing times or the need to drive to Chinon. While it wasn't a major issue, a laundry option that was more efficient would have been a bonus.

the beautiful gardens around the property were a highlight, as was the delicious regional cuisine on offer. the local attractions nearby were easily accessible by car, which we found to be very convenient.
Without a car, getting around would be quite difficult, and the restaurant in the village is only open for lunch.

You can stroll around the beautiful gardens, sit and enjoy meals while admiring the view, and relax in lovely, clean rooms with convenient en suite bathrooms. the hosts are very helpful and can provide useful advice on local events and activities. There is a wide variety of facilities and services, such as a private pool, the possibility to prepare your own meals, wine tours, and an attentive staff to assist you.
There is one aspect of the hotel that could have been improved upon, which is the laundry service, as it can take a while and may not be as efficient as expected.
